How is paint correction priced?
Pricing is based on your vehicle's size and paint condition. We assess on arrival and confirm pricing with you before any work begins. There are no surprise charges.
Can you fix deep scratches?
It depends on the depth. Scratches that haven't broken through the clear coat can typically be corrected. Scratches that reach the base coat or primer require respray — we'll tell you honestly which category your scratches fall into.
How long does it take?
Single stage polish typically takes 2–4 hours. Two stage correction runs 4–6 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. We'll give you a time estimate before we start.
Do I need to drop my vehicle off, or do you come to me?
We primarily do paint correction at our shop — 3260 Highway 32 #2, Chico, CA — since a controlled environment gives the best results. If you can't get your vehicle to us, we can also come to you.
Should I get paint correction before ceramic coating?
Yes — if your paint has visible swirls, scratches, or oxidation, we strongly recommend correction before coating. Ceramic locks in the paint condition. Single stage polish is included in every ceramic coating package.
